Originally introduced in 1992, the technology behind Krazy Klean Labs was revolutionary.

1992

In 1992, Steve Berenson and David Weck introduced their patented ToiletClean Chemical Free Toilet Bowl Cleaner on the Joan Rivers "Can We Shop" show. It instantly became the second best product sold on the show and the fist to be brought back a second time.

1992

Wanting a different approach to the second airing, Joan Rivers had the idea to bring on the mother of the inventor. Mrs. Anita Berenson appeared a few months later that year and also sold out all the inventory.

1993

QVC, who were partners with Joan Rivers on "Can We Shop", saw the success and reached out to negotiate an exclusive agreement for ToiletClean. QVC had a record 8 year run with the item, selling millions of dollars.

1995

In 1995, ToiletClean began selling in the New York Tri-State area. Inserts in newspapers and radio advertising on the Joan Hamburg show on WOR Radio sold out the product through retail.

2000

In 2000, ToiletClean began selling at The Home Depot in its evolved form. It enjoyed success in the cleaning department until new CEO, Bob Nardelli, transformed the department into a Wal-Mart competition.
